Suvarnabhumi Sanctuary is located on a 640-acre property with mountain views, forests, a creek, and plenty of space to accommodate wedding parties, including space for camping and RVs.
WHAT WE CAN PROVIDE
- A beautiful space for the ceremony (either up on the mesa with 360 views, or down by the creek, or under our large shelter, or an intimate gathering in the yurt, whichever you may prefer)
- Additional spaces for camping, catering, pre- and post-ceremony gatherings, dressing, etc.
- A wedding officiant if requested (or you can bring your own officiant)
- Sound system
- Access to wifi in specific areas
- Rented toilet and washing facilities
- Plenty of parking
WHAT WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE*
- Accommodation for one person or one couple in a lovely guest yurt
- Catering of tasty, healthy, organic, plant-based (vegan) meals for small groups
- Music (prerecorded or live)
- *Availability of all of the above depends on circumstances and advance planning.
WHAT WE CANNOT PROVIDE, BUT YOU CAN ORGANIZE IF YOU WISH
- As a Buddhist Sanctuary, we cannot provide alcohol (though you’re welcome to bring your own if it’s the kind of gathering where you can be sure that everyone would drink responsibly and maintain respectful behavior).
- Wedding tent (which can be rented locally if you’d like to have one here).
- Wedding planner (we’ll organize the facilities and services that we’re providing, but everything else will be up to your party to organize).
WHAT IS NOT AVAILABLE OR NOT PERMITTED
- While there is plenty of space for camping, and one lovely guest yurt than can be reserved in advance, no other accommodations are available onsite (though there are good options nearby).
- Cell phone signal is very spotty (though if your phone and carrier support wifi calling, you may be able to make calls over our wifi connection).
- As a Buddhist Sanctuary, the entire property is strictly vegetarian (no meat of any kind is permitted on the property).
- Out of respect for our neighbors, who share our love for the peace and quiet of the area, any amplified music must be kept to a reasonable volume and wrap up by 9:00pm.
